Classic Lennon
He wasn't the nicest man. He could be cruel and hard hearted. But he was a complicated soul with a talent that was large as it comes. This is so classic Lennon.

Laura, he was intense. But i've read a bunch of biographies of the beatles and he really wasnt a nice man. His ex-wife, Cynthia Lennon, came out with her own autobiography a couple of years ago and his treatment of her during his affair with Yoko was deplorable. Also, Eric Clapton told a few stories about Lennon too, (in his rather new autobiography) and he was just mean to folks.
ReplyDeleteNevertheless, he was one hell of a songwriter and an extremely charismatic character. I like to think that had he lived longer and watched his son with Yoko grow, his heart would have softened. who knows?
I don't know much about the man, I don't follow music all that much, but we can all be be cruel and hardhearted. Or seem to be to others.
