Samba Lessons

My gym is about to offer several types of dance lessons, samba, salsa and reggae. I am going to take the Samba lessons. Doesn't this look like fun??!! Wow, and what a work out.

Here's a demonstration of the end result, by the same dance instructor:

Oh, I am incredibly psyched about this. I'm going to start the class along with a couple trainers at the gym. As one of them said, we can all look stupid together.

  1. Okay. That does it. I am putting up my Brazilian music entry later today. I already have it pretty much done.

By the way, Beej. Get after it! Get down! Make us proud.

  2. You betcha. In fact, this is what I am going to do; Im going to have Cynthia film me when I start and then again after I've had a few lessons under my belt. And then I'm going to post it here. I love to dance so I am trusting I will make y'all very proud of me.

  3. Have a go at the Reggae dancing as well eh?

I watched a bit of the vid. Now I'm knackered and in need of vodka to rejuvenate me. All this physical fitness stuff is very tiring to watch you know!

  4. Oh, but Four Dinners! From your photo it appears you might cut a pretty rug, yourself. But go have your reinforcement and rest up until i get my own samba video up here.

  5. I just like to slow dance, belly rubbing, so close together it's as if you are one. Well, with the right woman anyway, nothing wrong with vertical foreplay.

I'm whipping up an apple upside cake, never made one of them before but I'm out of pineapple and gots lots of apples on da tree.

  8. Dance is a great way to keep fit and healthy, supple and strong. I think everyone should dance every day, even on your own just play whatever music moves you. I used to go to dance class when I was younger, even did competition stuff but was never successful - I just don't have that killer instinct. But I still love to dance. Go check out some Gloria Estafan music to dance to. I love it! Will be watching for your videos Beej. And Steve, how about a basso nova from you?

  9. Gloria Estafan, yes! Do you still dance? I'm serious about putting a video up here. Unless I really stink at it.
